FINAL year university students are being encouraged to apply for the 2013 Westpac Pacific Graduate Program, which closes at the end of the month.
The program provides those selected an opportunity to join the bank initially for 12 months, spending time in various departments before being offered a full time role.
"Graduates are rewarded with a real job from day one, along with a competitive salary and the support they need to kick-start their career," a bank statement said.
"They're provided with a mentor to provide structure and support as they receive exposure to different areas of the business, and professional skills training to complement the learning they gain when they complete their degree."
At the end of the 12-month period, graduates transition into a role at Westpac that suits their career aspirations and the bank's needs.
