THE Constitution Commission has extended its deadline for another 10 days.
Commission chairman Professor Yash Ghai said they reorganised the program based on the many submissions received in the west.
"We had hoped to finish it all by October 8 then go back to Suva. Now we have reorganised our program so that we will be travelling until October 15," Prof Ghai said.
"Because we don't want to rush the process unnecessarily, we will spend five days in Suva doing office work as we have to catch up on many things.
"Secondly, we are meeting a number of political parties, trade unions, professionals, associations, non-governmental organisations, so we will work half-a-day with them and half day on our own," he said.
