Players go through DTE program

SELECTED local players are undergoing one day High Performance Unit (HPU) Daily Training Environment (DTE) program to prepare for the Flying Fijians upcoming international fixtures.

The HPU conducted the first DTE program concentrating on the Tight 5 Focus Specific Monitoring program at HPU gyms in Sigatoka and Laucala on Tuesday and yesterday, respectively.

Flying Fijians head coach Inoke Male said the DTE program was for the set of players that were earmarked for future national duties.

Male said the players would be monitored on their progress throughout month through their fitness trainer, technical coaches and physio.

"Some of the players will be in Europe tour but their inclusion is based on the recommendation of the above personnels," Male added.

Players that underwent the DTE programs this week include Manasa Saulo, Sireli Temo, Viliame Veikoso, Savenaca Tabakanalagi, Inia Tukere, Nacanieli Namata, Leone Nakarawa, Jerry Tokamalua, Netani Vora, Jovesa, Tanikorolevu, Apakuki Vuaviri, Luke Kobukobua, Eremasi Radrodro, Samu Saqiwa, Apenisa Nasilasila, Aporosa Kenatale, Setareki Koroilagilagi, Leone Tabuarua, Penaia Naweilulu, Aisea Natoga, Samisoni Viriviri.
