THE Tanoa Group of Hotels investment into staff training programs has paid dividends and should be replicated in other organisations.

Speaking at the Tanoa Innovators Conference in Lautoka yesterday, Minister for Labour Jone Usamate said he was a personal witness to the growth and development of the staff and facilities as a regular visitor to Tanoa Hotels over the past two decades.

"The implementation of initiatives like the Tanoa Innovators program is something that we want to see other organisations undertake to improve service delivery and increase productivity in the country," Mr Usamate said.

"If companies want to be productive, they have to recognise that the source of productivity is their people," he said. "It is good to see that Tanoa has been doing the Innovators program since 2008 and they have seen the benefits.

Mr Usamate said the Tanoa Innovators program should be replicated to other organisations across the country so that service levels and productivity could be improved.
