THE Constitution Commission has announced the appointment of an accomplished economist, Keshwa Reddy as Commission's executive secretary.
Commission chair Professor Yash Ghai said Mr Reddy had the necessary expertise and experience to manage the secretariat.
"He has both the academic and administrative experience. We are fortunate to have him," Prof Ghai said.
Mr Reddy is a career civil servant and was the chief economist at the Ministry of Strategic Planning and deputy secretary, Corporate and Planning at the Department of Agriculture in 2010.
He has extensive experience in covering economic policy and planning, public policy analysis and strategic development.
