MEMBERS of the All Nations Christian Fellowship Church have been reminded of the importance of a giving heart — one that will always reap the rewards of giving.

Speaking to the congregation at a function in Labasa, church president Reverend Epeli Ratabacaca said members should see their gift of giving as an investment, not only to the church but to whoever they assisted.

The church members from Vanua Levu raised about $55,000 at the one-day gathering held at Katonivere Park.

Mr Ratabacaca urged the members of his church to be faithful to whatever they do whether at home, church, at work, even while with friends and families.

Divisional church leader Reverend Atunaisa Ratulailai said the soli from the districts and cell groups would be used for church buildings.

"The soli given by the different districts will be taken back by them to use for church operations including construction of churches," he said.

"We all have plans to build the church for every district in Vanua Levu. We need to first identify a piece of land to build the church and most of the districts have done that so far."
