FIJI'S lone representative at the London Paralympics Iliesa Delana competed in the F42 high jump event this morning.
Delana, who is the top bet in the event, had been training hard in Wales prior to the Paralympic Games. Team Chef de Mission Sainiana Tukana said Delana was injury-free and they were looking forward for a good result from him.
Delana, who won a silver medal at last year's World Championships in Christchurch, New Zealand, competed alongside six other competitors.
The 27-year-old was placed second best in the competition with the height of 1.73 metres
Delana is accompanied by his coach Fred Fatiaki, Tukana and physio Sharelene Nand at the Games.
