THREE schoolboys have been added to the extended Lautoka training squad in preparation for the Farebrother-Sullivan trophy challenge next month.

They include Tikiko Inoke, Eneri Ratudradra and Pita Gus Nacagilevu. The trio attend Lautoka Central College.

Eneri and Tikiko also represent the Islands Electric Lautoka Crushers in the Fiji National Rugby League Vodafone Cup competition.

Tikiko is on a scholarship with the Newcastle Knights.

Lautoka Rugby Union secretary Salesi Vulakoro said they had roped in former national rep Kitione Ratudradra to help them in the forwards.

He said Kitione would be helping coaches Vuata Narisia and Viliame Satala and also technical adviser Epeli Lagiloa. He said the players would be undergoing a fitness test.

Vulakoro said rugby mentor Lagiloa would be designing their fitness program.

"The players have been invited to attend training from this week," Vulakoro said.

"The coaches will assess the players. Lagiloa will do the fitness test and thereafter design their fitness program. We will reduce the squad to 26 two weeks before the match. The players will then go into camp."

Lautoka has named some experienced campaigners in the squad including Taniela Rawaqa, Ifereimi Rawaqa, Anthony Wise, Kelemedi Bola, Waisale Vatuvoka, Jerry Tuilevu and Iliavi Satala.

Lautoka came close to snatching the Farebrother Sullivan trophy from Nadroga in 2010. Nadroga escaped with a 13-all draw. Last year the Maroons went down 12-15 to the Stallions.

Lautoka last held the Farebrother Sullivan trophy back in 2003 where they won the prized cup from Naitasiri.
