FNPF trial
THE High Court in Suva will allow a trial in the absence of the accused person. In his ruling, judge Justice Priyantha Fernando said the accused and Fiji National Provident Fund former general manager Foana Nemani could be tried fairly in her absence as she waived her right to be present at the trial. She faces one count of extortion by public officers and one count of Abuse of Office.
