RAVIN Nath reigned supreme yet again as he retained his Fiji Car Club drag racing title at the Taunovo Airstrip in Pacific Harbour yesterday.
Nath, who has been dominating the event for the past nine years, easily retained his title despite failing to set a new record.
The veteran and owner of Wishbone and Pizza King clocked 10.50 seconds in the Lincoln Refrigerator Limited-sponsored 400 metres event.
Tauz Khan was second with a time of 11.75secs while Sandeep Kumar finished in third position, stopping the clock at 12.84secs.
Nath was driving his famous Holden Torana, registration 'C MEGO'. Fiji Car Club president Raizal Haniff said they were pleased with the number of turnout.
He said the event had continued to attract the attention of the public.
"It was of course a successful event, a lot of spectators came to watch the event and we are very pleased with that," he said.
"As usual Nath is the winner once again. Tauz and Sandeep finished second and third respectively."
He thanked their sponsors Lincoln Refrigerators for their continuous support.
He added there would be an off-road event in Tamavua within a fortnight.
