FIJI Television Limited is adding another new channel to its pay TV service, Sky Pacific.
Group chief executive Tarun Patel said the company had secured a deal with Viacom to broadcast the Hindi language channel, Colors on its direct to home satellite platform, Sky Pacific.
"We are very pleased with the partnerships established with Viacom," Mr Patel said.
"Colors is extremely popular with a certain segment of the market and this move is in line with our continuing efforts to strengthen our pay TV content."
Sky Pacific now has 17 channels.
Colors offers a combination of Indian fiction shows, format shows, reality programs and blockbuster movies to its viewers in India and across the world.
"Providing compelling content is our core business," Mr Patel said.
"And being able to add another channel to our service at this stage is indicative of our ongoing commitment to engaging our viewers, subscribers and advertisers with infotainment that appeals to them."
