BSP Life has announced intentions to pursue more business in the Western Division.

Speaking at the celebrations to mark the company's first anniversary under the BSP Life banner, managing director Malakai Naiyaga said apart from seizing viable opportunities, the biggest satisfaction his team received was from assisting people save and being able to provide funds at critical points in customers lives.

"Our products still offer the most practical vehicle of savings for a large part of our community who may find it difficult to consciously save on a medium to long term basis," Mr Naiyaga said.

"The satisfaction of seeing more and more people save and build wealth and financial needs being met within families that meet strategic events are what drives us as a business and drives us as individuals," he said.

"In the investment side of our business, we plan to more actively pursue more opportunities here in the west which currently include majority shareholding in Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa and ownership of the Rooster Poultry business in Ba," he added.

Mr Naiyaga said that since the rebranding from Colonial Life to BSP Life, the company had seen significant growth and would continue to put out relevant products and innovative services to continuously meet the needs of customers.
