THE Lautoka Rugby Union has roped in Epeli Lagiloa as their technical adviser for the Farebrother-Sullivan Trophy challenge in October.
Dubbed as the "Fitness Guru", Lagiloa coached the Maroons when they wrested the prestigious trophy away from Nadi in 2001.
Lagiloa will team up with coaches Viliame Satala and Vuata Narisia.
The Lautoka Rugby Union has named a strong training squad in preparation for the fixture.
Veteran Ifereimi Rawaqa has been named in the 35-member squad alongside Anthony Wise, Taniela Rawaqa, Viliame Nabiau, Apakuki Vuaviri, Ifereimi Naruma, Viliame Satala Jr, Kelemedi Bola, Iliesa Salusalu, Watisoni Votu, Jone Tiko and Iliavi Satala.
LRU secretary Salesi Vulakoro said the players would start training from Monday.
He said they would adopt a serious approach in their preparations.
"Epeli will be helping the coaches," Vulakoro said.
"This is our only chance to finish the season off on a high note."
The following players have been requested to attend training at Churchill Park ground three in Lautoka from 4.30pm on Monday.
