DOCTORS, nurses and other health professionals from around the Pacific gathered at the Southern Cross Hotel in Suva yesterday to be part of the Primary Health Care Training for Pacific Island Countries 2012. The program is being conducted by the Seoul National University Hospital and the Fiji National University (FNU) College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences (CMNHS). In his welcome address to the program participants, the dean of the FNU CMNHS, Prof Ian Rouse, said the program was part of a long-term collaborative partnership with people of Korea. Participants at the program hailed from countries around the Pacific including Samoa, Tonga, Palau and the Cook Islands.
