SUVA City was a sea of colours yesterday as the Hibiscus Festival's float procession made its way through the streets.
Traffic and businesses came to a halt as the float drew thousands of people out of their homes and workplaces to line the streets of Suva and along Victoria Parade, while thousands more awaited the procession at Albert Park.
Miss Suva City Council Kelerayani Gavidi was the first float with creative miniature fruits portraying this year's theme of fighting against Non-ommunicable Diseases (NCDs).
