DIGICEL surprised Futsal soccer giants Southern Forest in the final of the Fiji Sports Council Business House competition in Suva on Tuesday night.
The unknown Digicel side was just too good for the Southern Forest Team which had some Navua district reps, beating them 3-1.
Peter Pranesh was the key player for Digicel and he led by example with his defence, taking his team all the way to the grand final.
Tournament organiserTagi Vonolagi said from the elimination rounds to the finals, all games were a thriller.
Vonolagi said some players that took part in the competition had good Futsal skills and could also be considered for our national Futsal team.
New team in the competition The Fiji Times was awarded the best dressed team.
