NAMOSI looks to be one of the favourites to make it to the Fiji Rugby Union B Division semi-finals after winning its second game in the competition yesterday
The former major union team thrashed Navosa 42-19 in their encounter at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka.
Namosi, after thrashing neighbours Serua 53-3 in its opening game, is now scheduled to face Kadavu in the last pool match tomorrow.
The winner and runner-up from Pool A will head into the semi-finals.
The B Division winner will play the promotion-relegation match against Rewa which finished last in the 2012 Digicel Cup competition.
In the second game of day, Serua defeated Kadavu 21-8 to keep its hopes for a berth in the semi-finals alive.
The two teams were tied 8-8 at halftime.
Serua coach Watisoni Ratulevu said he was happy with what his boys had achieved so far especially as he had only spent about three days with the team.
"I'm new to the team and I know we have a long way to go to achieve our goal," Ratulevu said.
"We have set a three-year plan for Serua rugby and if we continue to work hard we will surely achieve it."
In the last round tomorrow Serua will play Navosa and Namosi faces Kadavu in the second game.
