THE Catholic Church in Fiji is partnering with the Ministry of Health for a series of faith-based seminars on human sexuality.

The seminars are being organised by the Roman Catholic Church in its effort to help people live holistic lives and celebrate their sexuality as God intended.

A release from the church said the Ministry of Health was partnering with them to combat the increasing numbers of teenage pregnancies and related issues.

The event is aimed at both Catholic and non-Catholic youths all over Fiji and the church will be sponsoring youths to attend the seminars.

Church Archbishop Petero Mataca said all were given a body to use to glorify god and urged people to attend the Theology of the Body Seminar.

As part of the seminars, two priests Father Walter Schu and Father John Paul will speak on themes aimed at different clusters such as legal and medical practitioners, clergy, parents, teachers and those in everyday life.
