THE stage is set for the pinnacle of Fiji Secondary School rugby as all teams are gunning to make their respective schools proud.
While teams are looking forward to a successful event, the Lautoka City Council workers have made sure that the facilities and surface are in top condition.
After the successive hosting of some international matches such as the Fiji -Scotland, Fiji-Tonga and Oceania Women's Rugby World Cup qualiying rounds, Churchill Park is ready to host the secondary school rugby event.
LCC special administrator Praveen Bala said the park offered the best playing surface compared to any grounds in the country.
"The stage is set to host the biggest school boys' rugby event in Fiji and all facilities are in top condition," he said.
"I am confident that players will love playing on the turf as this is one of the best in the country.
"We have successfully hosted many top games and tournaments and I don't see any problems in hosting school rugby."
Bala said the council was honoured that the Fiji Secondary School Rugby Association decided to hold the finals in Lautoka.
