ROTUMAN students at USP are ready to make submissions to the Constitution Commission.

The leader of the Rotuman Students Association, Koftoria Fesaita, acknowledged Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama's invitation for all Fijian youths to make their voices heard.

Ms Fesaita said it was great idea for the PM to invite all Fijian youths, including those from territories like Rotuma, to make submissions to the commission because youths needed to be empowered.

"As the PM encouraged us youths to make our submissions, I can say it is a great idea because youths need to be empowered," Ms Fesaita said.

She said it would create a huge impact for youths to take this chance to share their views as leaders of tomorrow.

Ms Fesaita said it was a platform for all youths to freely state their opinions to the commission because there are some who are restricted by traditional values.

She said members of the association would make submissions to the Constitution Commission.

At the groundbreaking ceremony of the National Stadium project in Suva, the Prime Minister invited all, especially youths, to take time and effort to make their submissions.
