Gold mine exploration
NO exploration work has started on Mt Kasi Gold Mine in Cakaudrove. Mineral Resources Department director Malakai Finau confirmed this, saying they would seek clarification and direction from the responsible minister on the appropriate action they would take.
Lady category for festival
THE upcoming Vodafone Festival of the Friendly North is expected to be bigger and better this year. The festival, scheduled to start next Saturday, has so far had the participation of seven queens, four ladies and six king contestants. This is the first time there is a lady category for the festival.
