THE Motibhai Group of Companies yesterday hosted business houses from Nadi and Lautoka at its Bushells Fiji's Biggest Morning Tea, a charity event aimed at raising much needed funds for the Fiji Cancer Society.

The group also donated $15,000.05 as part of its assistance to the Western Cancer Society, an addition to its annual assistance to the society.

Group chief executive officer Kirit Patel said the company was proud to host the biggest morning tea in Fiji in aid of cancer sufferers in the country. "This is our seventh year of hosting this event and we are proud to be hosting this event for our local business houses," Mr Patel said.

He said the company had already committed itself to this worthy cause for the next few years.

Western Cancer Society president Milika Marshall said the organisation was grateful for the help.

Some renowned corporate bodies turned out to share a cup of tea and donate money and these included representatives from Tourism Fiji, Vodafone Fiji, Airports Fiji Limited, Bank of Baroda and Shangri-La's Fijian Resort.
