IN the latest iOS update for iPhones and iPads Apple has removed the preinstalled YouTube application.
As part of iOS 6 beta 4 which is available to developers, the app has been totally removed. This follows the earlier beta versions of the upcoming iOS where Apple removed Google Maps and replaced it with their own mapping application. Apple states "Our license to include the YouTube app in iOS has ended, customers can use YouTube in the Safari browser and Google is working on a new YouTube app to be on the App Store."
Some will say by Apple removing the app it's an indication of the battle between the two tech empires. It's rumored that Apple is working on its own video streaming solution just like it has done with its own map application replacing Google Maps from its upcoming iOS.
