LABASA and Rewa drew one-all at Subrail Park yesterday in the Fiji Sun/ GP Batteries National Football League.

Labasa player Ilisoni Logaivau was in top form during the first three minutes of play to put his team ahead.

However, taking advantage of the northerners' error, Rewa responded to with a goal from Manueli Buli in the second half.

Labasa team coach Epeli Levaci said Babasiga Lions team was a young one.

"This should not be an excuse because we wanted a win but we are satisfied with a point," Levaci said.

Levaci said they had started out strongly but faded out in the second half.

Rewa manager Nishant Maharaj said Labasa's first goal was "a fluke".

Maharaj admitted that his team did not perform to par blaming their long travel.

"However we look forward to taking on Savusavu tomorrow to try and improve our standings."
