THE makers of Korean made cars Kia Motors couldn't have said it better — their vehicles are not just about shapes, lines and surfaces.

It's about unexpected new and pleasant experience, the company said.

The statement is fitting for the opening of the company's second showroom in the country.

Located in Nadi, the new showroom offers customers in the Western Division an extension of Kia Motors range of multi award-winning vehicles and world-renowned after-sales services.

The showroom, situated at the old Tappoo Home & Leisure store, was opened this week — just a year after its Suva showroom opened at Grantham Rd.

Chief executive officer Madhu Tappoo said Kia Motors was a high-end, fuel-efficient and eco-friendly make suited for the young at heart.

"In a short span of time, Kia Motors Fiji has already exceeded all expectations and projections for this market. This has come about through the affordability of the vehicles and the efficiency and value of the after-sales services," he said.

With the brand slogan "The Power to Surprise", Kia Motors' Nadi showroom offers a full range of multi award-winning vehicles including the new Kia Sorento — which won the award for Australia's Best SUV.

The Nadi showroom offers the Kia Optima — voted the Best of Best Design award winner and the new Kia Rio — which was Australia's Car of the Year award winner.

Indicative of its commitment to service, Kia Motors after-sales service is headed by an expatriate Kia-trained service manager, and expatriate technicians.

In Australia and New Zealand, Kia is fast becoming the preferred vehicle of choice, Mr Tappoo said.
