HOME Finance Company Limited (HFC) got in on the fight against cancer among children with a donation of $4000 for the Walk On Walk Strong (WOWS) foundation.
HFC general manager risk and governance Raj Sharma said the money was raised by staff members.
He said the company presented the donation to Sina Kami, mother of Tae Kami, the youngster whose battle with cancer inspired the WOWS foundation.
Mr Sharma, who was among those who shaved their heads as part of the WOWS campaign, said he was inspired to join the foundation after suffering a loss of his own.
"My niece passed away in Hong Kong and it made me realise how important it is to be grateful for what we have," he said.
