ORGANISERS of the St Joseph Parish Naililili 7s hope they will be able to attract some of Fiji's top sevens teams to their tournament this month.
The annual sevens and netball tournament will start on August 31 and end on September 1. Tournament official Leca Vunibobo said the tournament would coincide with the Naililili Parish annual bazaar and fundraising drive.
Vunibobo said the tournament had been moved forward from November.
"At the moment we don't have a sponsor for the two-day tournament but we are still talking to some companies who are willing to work with us," Vunibobo said.
Vunibobo said entry fee was $170 per team and only the first 32 teams would be accommodated.
The winning team will walk away with $2000 while the runner-up will take home $1000.
