TWO men were sentenced to three months imprisonment for illicit drug related offences.
Togaliwaki Fuilakeba, 49, and Keni Tikoisuva, 56, appeared before Suva Magistrate Chaitanya Lakshman separately.
Fuilakeba pleaded guilty to one count of being found in possession of illicit drugs and a second count of unlawful cultivation of illicit drugs.
Tikoisuva, on the other hand, pleaded guilty to one count of unlawful cultivation of illicit drugs.
The court heard that on July 20 at Lami in Suva, Fuilakeba possessed two grams of cannabis.
Also it heard that without lawful authority, he cultivated three cannabis plants weighing 787.4 grams.
On the same date in Lami, Tikoisuva had cultivated 24 cannabis plants.
The men were each sentenced to three months imprisonment.
