FIJI youths who have taken part in the Know India Program have formed a Pravasi Youth Club to keep their experiences in India alive.
The second secretary for Hindi at the Indian High Commission in Suva, Ramvir Prasad, said the Know India Program was an initiative of the Indian Government's Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs.
"The participants of this program visit India for two to three weeks on familiarisation visits to India's historical places and to meet prominent persons," he said.
He said the club would meet regularly and suggest meaningful and creative programs and activities.
"These could include literary contests, cultural programs, activities and film shows," Mr Prasad added.
