SYDNEY - Newcastle youngster Kevin Naiqama has ended speculation over his future by signing a new one-year deal with the NRL club.
The 23-year-old flyer, who debuted in 2010, has enjoyed his most successful season to date under Wayne Bennett, playing five matches for the Knights in 2012.
"It has been great getting more opportunities this year, to show what I have got and I am grateful for the faith Wayne has showed in me," said Naiqama.
Naiqama's older brother Wes has already confirmed he is leaving Newcastle at the end of the year, having signed a deal with Penrith for the 2013 campaign.
