EVERYBODY deserves a second chance.
This is the firm belief of Vodafone Hibiscus Festival 2012 King Contestant Mr Yellow Ribbon Aman Ashwindar Singh.
Mr Singh said second chances needed to extend much further than just the confines of prison walls.
And he has made it his mission at this year's Hibiscus Festival to educate people on the importance of second chances and the Yellow Ribbon Project.
"When linking second chances to the main theme of this year's Hibiscus, S-N-A-P out of it!
"Take control of your life! A second chance would basically mean that we all should give ourselves a second chance for better health and lifestyle.
"It means to diverge ourselves from the unhealthy lifestyle with little or no physical activity, smoking, alcohol abuse and lack of proper diet to a lifestyle that puts us on the track for a life that is free from non-communicable diseases and other health-related problems," he said.
