THE memories of late loved ones stir on Vodafone King Contestant Mark Anthony to keep up the fight against non-communicable diseases.

"Some of my family members are currently suffering from some very common types of lifestyle diseases like stroke, heart attack, cancer and diabetes and some have passed away from it," Mr Anthony said.
"This is what motivated me and also the message I will be sharing with you, the people of Fiji and the Pacific, who are also part of my family."
He said this year's Vodafone Hibiscus Festival 2012 would be a chance for him to advocate for a healthy living and a healthy lifestyle.
"I believe that this is the foundation of a healthy and productive nation and should start at home," he said.
"Our health depends on the things we eat, what we do and don't do, and our upbringing."
