Roads are not in proper condition, almost all the places on the road have pot holes ,full of muddy water.
Houses are to congested and there is very less space for people to more in and out, there are less space to dry clothes, so they dry it on the road side and also people dont have enough space to do there gardening. Sundar kaur (a resident ) 45years old and is living in jittu are estate from 20 years notice from the government that the land will upgrade or not and she also comment that there are a lot of mosquitoes because of the blocked drains. She said that cannot clean it because she is handicapped .
She also said the police patrol always go to their area and look after .
Because of these they are not afraid of anything.
There are a lot of places where stagnant water is ;where mosquitoes lay eggs e.g. in tyres s ;tins ;bottles; coconut shell and even blocked drains .all the stuff should be buried or filled with soil .blocked drains should be cleaned so no mosquitoes can lay eggs. there isnt a proper disposal of rubbish , our team went around the area .we saw the rubbish around the rubbish bins .
Most of the places bus stops but there isnt any shelter for the people to sit in this case people face a lot of problems like when it is raining or sunny weather .
Sometimes people are tired of standing in the sun waiting for the bus . People sometimes people take out the bench from the shelter .
Through our investigation we saw that people use only one facility like toilet ,and bathroom about 4to5 families use one toilet and bathroom .
People face problem when they want to use the bathroom ,they have to wait for one to finish.
After visiting the settlement we went to the community police post .
We met one of the lady constable (constable talida) .she said that jittuestate was one of the populated area .
The police team of these area face a lot of problem such as robbery.
