THE amount raised from the Walk on Walk Strong (WOWS) 2012 campaign will not be known until next week.

WOWS Save it Shave it (SOS) chairman Dom Sansom said they still had pledges and money coming in and a total amount could not be totalled as yet.

"We have had WOWS campaigns all around Fiji," he said.

"There have been fundraising walks from Sigatoka to Suva, Nausori to Suva and we also still have people coming in to donate at the WOWS SOS so we cannot put an accurate total to this year's campaign."

Mr Sansom said the full amount will be known within a week when all the funds raised and pledges had been brought to their office.

"The money raised from this year's campaign goes straight to the Fiji Cancer Society and put into the WOWS Fund for children with cancer.

"The main aim of the funds was to get a resource centre set up for victims which is already in place.

"Now we are looking for a facility near the hospital for our next project," he said.

Last year, WOWS raised $180,000.
