THE Ahmadhiyya Muslim Primary School created history by winning two grades during the Lautoka Kaji Rugby Association competition last Saturday.
Ahmadhiyya Muslim Primary School took out the under-10 and under-14 grades.
Team coach Sitiveni Nasigaya said this was the first time for the school to win in the rugby competition. He said they only began participating in the tournament last year.
"To win two grades is a big achievement for the school," Nasigaya said.
"The competition lasted six weeks. There has been a big celebration planned for the players on Friday. We will be inviting national rep Viliame Satala who is a former student to be the chief guest.
"The final trials to select the Lautoka team for the national competition will be held on Friday."
