FORMER Fiji Bati Osea Sadrau marked his return to the Vodafone Cup in the Police Sharks jersey with a 14-20 loss to Nabua Broncos yesterday in the premier grade at Buckhurst Park.
Despite the loss, the France-based prop stood out in the match coming in with some good hits in the round 10 Suva zone fixture.
The former Saru Dragon made his debut for Fiji in the 2008 World Cup against France in the first pool match after he made the switch from rugby union.
He now plies his trade with AS Carcassonne in the Elite One Championship in France.
As for the Broncos, nearly all members of the team contributed towards the win, however, Jese Tiko played a big role, leading the charge against the lawmen.
With two rounds to go, Fiji National Rugby League development officer, Sale Tubuna said both teams were in the running to top the zone.
"With only two rounds left, these two will be in the top two but we can't say who will be on top," Tubuna said.
"It's not over yet and anything can happen in the next two rounds."
In the main premier grade match in the Nasinu zone at Bidesi Park, Makoi Bulldogs beat Narere Tigers 60-16.
