FORMER Suva Grammar School rugby star Filimoni Seru Junior played for the Lomaiviti Dynamics during the Suva Netball Men's League final against Veiyasana Black yesterday. Just like what he does on the rugby field, orchestrating his team's attack at flyhalf, Seru had a similar role playing at centre mid court, to help his team beat Veiyasana 23-17 at the National Netball Centre.
DURING the Tailevu kaji rugby competition, students were seen playing another kind of sport when they are not on the rugby field. Teachers and coaches had to call their players for warm ups as most students were seen playing marbles with other friends during the interval of each game at the Sila Central High School grounds.
