THE name that sends chills through the veins of many defenders in Fiji is back to bolster Rewa in the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants tournament.
James Naka is all set to mesmerise his opponents in the opening round of the tournament at Subrail Park in Labasa this Sunday.
The stylish striker, who joined the Delta Tigers camp early this week, is adjusting well with the team and hopes to repeat the feat that gave Rewa wins in past tournaments.
"I think there are a lot of young players in Rewa unlike before but it's not hard adjusting with them," Naka, who featured for Solomon Islands in the Oceania Nations Cup, said.
"There are still some players in the squad that I have previously played with so there isn't much problem settling with the team."
Naka, who made his debut in a domestic tournament in 2009, won the Fiji FACT that year for Navua after scoring the winning goal in extra time against Lautoka.
In 2010, he joined Rewa for the Battle of the Giants tournament where his fellow countryman Abraham Iniga scored the lone goal in the final to win the Delta Tigers their fourth BOG title.
Naka also featured in Rewa's Inter District Championship and Champions versus Champion victories in 2010.
Last year, the player, who spots a ginger coloured afro, struck again to give Rewa their first Fiji FACT title in 21 years.
"I'm looking forward to this tournament and hope to help Rewa defend the title," said Naka, who will wear the lucky number 13 jersey in the BOG.
