POLICE investigations into an accident that claimed two lives on Taveuni and landed four people in hospital are continuing.
Police north media officer Constable Luke Rawalai said the investigation included interviews with witnesses.
"We have not completed investigating the case as we are looking into some details," he said.
"The three patients sent to Labasa Hospital are recovering and in stable condition."
Constable Rawalai said the fourth patient had remained in Taveuni Hospital and the body of the late Waisea Luveniyali had been taken to his village in Naitasiri.
"We continue to plead with motorists to be considerate when using the roads because other people are either in their cars or are using the roads as well," he said.
