THE national Paralympics team to the 2012 London Paralympics Games has been boosted with financial support as they build-up for the event.

The other athlete who will fly Fiji's flag at the event is amputee Iliesa Delana.

He said the Paralympics Games was contributing towards creating a more inclusive world and ANZ Fiji strived to do the same in the country.

"ANZ is proud to be part of that inclusiveness today and we couldn't be any more proud of our two Paralympians that will be holding high the Fiji flag, Iliesa Delana and Lusiana Rogoimuri," Ram said.

Fiji Paralympic Committee senior sports project officer Saimoni Nainoca thanked ANZ Fiji for their support.

"Your contribution is indeed a contributing factor in meeting costs involved in equipping our athletes physically, mentally and spiritually and encouraging them to be inspired to perform their best at the Games," Nainoca said.

High jumper Rogoimuri leaves the country on August 13. The Paralympics begin on August 29 and end on September 9. Delana is training in Brisbane.
