FIJI has committed to the contents of an outcome document emanating from the Rio+20 meeting in Brazil.
Subsequently, the national Road Map — a document which points out the government's direction to the 2014 elections — will be reviewed to incorporate the contents of the Rio+20 outcome document, permanent secretary for Strategic Planning, National Development and Statistics Pita Wise said.
He said donors' commitment didn't match what was given because of the impact of global economic and financial crisis along with other more pressing obligations.
Mr Wise said key elements of the Rio+20 outcome document would be implemented in the Road Map.
He said collective effort of Small Island Developing States was critical.
