The eight new air-conditioned Fashion coaches that Pacific Transport has added to its fleet are known for its comfort in other parts of the world, the Land Transport Authority said.
LTA general manager Josefa Vosanibola said the Creator fleet of buses had proven imported buses offered better safety features and were durable for Fiji roads. Speaking as chief guest at the launch of the new fleet, Mr Vosanibola said Pacific Transport had set the standard for bus operators.
"It also gives them an opportunity to explore what they lack and to achieve in near future," Mr Vosanibola said adding the eight new buses would supplement the company's services for the Suva-Lautoka route.
