Evaluation order
THE Suva Magistrate's Court has asked for the psychiatric evaluation report of a murder suspect.
Subramani Naidu, 39, appeared before Chief Magistrate Usaia Ratuvili yesterday.
Naidu is charged with the murder of his two-year-old grandnephew Munish Vivan Naidu and his 74-year-old mother in Solovi, Nadi on February 17.
Mr Ratuvili ordered that St Giles Hospital present its evaluation report of Naidu on July 26.
Plea deferred
A SENIOR member of a mosque had his plea deferred by the Suva Magistrate's Court yesterday.
Faiyaz Ali Khan is charged with inciting to commit an offence of assault.
He appeared before Chief Magistrate Usaia Ratuvili.
Mr Ratuvili had the plea deferred for 14 days for full disclosures to be served to Khan.
