VODAFONE Fiji will have a state-of-the-art outlet in the soon to be completed Damodar City complex in Suva.

The complex now has 80 per cent occupancy with more tenants expected to be announced soon.

"We are pleased to announce on the occasion of our 18th birthday our continued expansion to better serve our customers," Vodafone chief marketing officer, Sanjeewa Perera said.

"Accordingly, Vodafone is delighted to announce a new partnership deal with the owners of the new Damodar City complex that will see us opening a new Vodafone retail shop in the complex to meet the communication, mobile content and entertainment needs of our customers.

"The shop will have an especially dedicated area for customer care, corporate clients and value added services. There will also be a wider range of the latest handsets and accessories from world renowned brands, makes and models.

"This demonstrates Vodafone's commitment to taking its services closer to its customers. After all, our customers are the reason we are here."

Mr Perera said mobile phones were more and more becoming a medium for infotainment (information and entertainment).

"Hence, we look forward to using our partnership with Damodar City, especially on the movie entertainment side, to give our customers a better experience on their mobile phone," he said.

Damodar Group chief executive, Div Damodar said the company had approached potential tenants and Vodafone was one of the first to respond.
