A story in yesterday issue on Vuniwaqa in charge quotes Ms Mere Vuniwaqa as saying: "The upcoming elections was not like previous elections where it was compulsory for members of
the public to vote if they were eligible or face legal actions." It should have read: "Voting was not compulsory before. Registration to vote was - it no longer is now." Eligible candidates
who want to register should visit a registration centre with either an original birth certificate or one of the following identifications, Fiji National Provident Fund (FNPF) card, passport or
employment card.
