LOSING two games in a row has urged the Vanuatu netball team to end their Fiji tour on a winning note in their last game today.

Vanuatu which are competing in the LICI Pacific Netball Series Tier Two competition have lost two games in a row against the Fiji under-21 team.

The Beverly Ligo coached side lost 63-30 in their opening game on Thursday and again were dumped 65-31 yesterday by the young Fijian team who are preparing for the World Youth Championship in Scotland next year.

Ligo said they were happy to maintain the score margin, similar to day one. She said it was a learning experience for his girls.

"We came here to be exposed and I think our performance was very, very good, we did well, we only need to improve on few things before the next game (today)," Ligo said.

"This is a learning trip for us and we are happy with how things have turned out so far. Fiji is not the only place we are looking at to tour but maybe in the future we will go some other places.

"The score margin is the same from day one, so that shows that we maintained a consistent performance," she said. Ligo said they wanted to end the tour on a winning note. She said they needed to work hard on shooting goals against the fancied Fiji U21 team.

"We need to improve on our shooting, our mid-fielders and defenders are doing well, other than that we are looking forward to a win in the last game," Ligo said. Vanuatu takes on the Moape Vu coached side at 1pm at the Vodafone Arena today.
