FOREIGN Affairs permanent secretary Saipora Mataikabara yesterday met Singapore's non-resident High Commissioner to Fiji Verghese Mathews in Suva.
Mrs Mataikabara discussed with Mr Mathews areas of co-operation between the two countries, including capacity building in climate change, health and trade co-operation.
A government statement said Mr Mathews reiterated his government's invitation to Foreign Minister Ratu Inoke Kubuabola and Mrs Mataikabara to visit Singapore.
Mr Mathews met with Ratu Inoke too.
