Since acquiring the Insurance business off Colonial a few years ago, the BSP Group continues to invest significantly to get the right systems, processes and people in place to transform the business and enable it to reach greater heights. In a short period of time weve seen good progress.
We will continue to invest in the brand and challenge our BSP Life team to deliver high quality, consistent levels of service to our customers. Our brand evolves around people, their families, and their plans for the future. BSP Life aspires to be the most trusted provider of life and health insurance in Fiji and this vision drives our attitudes towards customers, business partners and colleagues. At Board level we are fortunate to have the services of experienced Insurance experts including having the President of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia as our Appointed Actuary.
The expertise and business acumen of our Directors ensures we have a viable, growing and sustainable business that delivers consistent returns to our majority shareholders, our customers. We have a balanced and diversified portfolio of investments worth over F$400m which not only assists the growth of Fijis economy but also delivers stable returns for customers.
Colonial Fiji proudly served Fiji and Fijian families for over 130 years. BSP Life carries on this proud tradition and after our first year of service we look to the future with confidence and optimism of further growth and cementing our brand as the provider of choice for all insurance services in Fiji.
There are more exciting initiatives that Malakai and his team are working on which includes further improving and modernising our product offer, and significantly enhancing the training and professionalism of our Agents network and staff which were sure will be well embraced by our existing and new customers.
