YOU can even now pay your bus fare and book a ticket through mobile money.

Passengers travelling on the Coral Sun Express between Nadi and Suva can now do this through Vodafones mobile money service, M-PAiSA.

Those travelling on the Coral Sun Express now have more booking options than any other service with M-PAiSA just the latest, Tourism Transport Fiji (TTF), general manager, Brad Rutherford said. TTF is the operator of Coral Sun Express.

With M-PAiSA, all the Coral Sun Express host or hostess has to do is verify the SMS electronic tickets on customers phones to allow the passenger to travel, making bookings easy and convenient, Mr Rutherford said.

Mr Rutherford said with the limited credit card penetration in the country, the online payment option had limited local access.

Head of Vodafone M-PAiSA Services, Shailendra Prasad is confident the new partnership will pave the way for many other businesses in the domestic express coach and tourist transport industry to look at M-PAiSA as a payment option.

Customers would need to call Coral Sun Express reservation centre through a short code dial number 5255 to make reservations.
