A 31-YEAR-OLD woman pleaded guilty to one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm in the Labasa Magistrates Court yesterday.
Rajebul Nisha represented herself before Magistrate Siainiu Faalogo Bull.
State prosecutor Sergeant Epeli Rikaiwai told the court that on October 19 in 2010, Nisha slapped the victim several times during an argument in Bucalevu outside Labasa Town.
The victim suffered minor injuries and was treated at Labasa Hospital.
Nisha told the court she committed the offence to defend herself from the victim who initially fought her.
Magistrate Bull adjourned the case to August 29.
